The Association employs three members of staff:

Andrew WallaceAW photo, Managing Director

 

 

 

Andrew Wallace has been involved in Scottish freshwater fisheries management since the mid 1990's when he was recruited to set up the network of five West Coast Fisheries Trusts which subsequently formed the Association of West Coast Fisheries Trusts (AWCFT) and then Rivers and Fisheries Trusts of Scotland (RAFTS). In 1999 he took on the position of Director of the Association of Salmon Fishery Boards (ASFB) and in 2007 that of Managing Director of RAFTS and ASFB with executive responsibility for both organisations.

Brian DavidsonBrian Davidson, Director

 

 

 

 

Brian Davidson lives in East Lothian and has been involved in fisheries administration for over 20 years, having served within various fisheries roles within the then Scottish Office before joining the ASFB as Assistant Director in 1999, and now has executive responsibility for the ASFB. When not behind a desk, Brian is a keen fly fisherman and runner, and enjoys most things 'outdoors'.

 Stephen Harris, Office Manager

 Stephen Harris

Stephen has recently taken up post with ASFB as office administrator from a financial administration role with the National Galleries of Scotland.  He is a keen sportsman enjoying swimming and tennis and also serves as a football referee around Edinburgh.  Just the skills needed to keep the ASFB office in order!

Hugh Campbell Adamson, ChairmanHugh C A photo

 

 

 

Hugh Campbell Adamson was born in Forfar, and lives in Angus. He farms at Stracathro, and amongst his various interests, puts football and angling at the top. A past Chairman of Brechin City Football Club, he also served as a director of the Scottish Football Association for 12 years, chairing  the Appeals, Disciplinary and  Coaching Committees.He chairs the Esk District Salmon Board and sits on the Esks Rivers and Fisheries Trust.   He has fished in various parts of the world but will always put Scotland at the top of the destination list. He is married to Alison, and has three children.
