Annual Conference
For a number of years, RAFTS has convened its annual conference in the Spring to discuss matters of interest to its members. In 2012, for the first time, and in recognition of the close working relationship between the two organisations, the conference will be jointly convened by RAFTS and ASFB.
The annual conference generates interest not only amongst the network of trusts and boards, but also wider stakeholders including other non-government organisations, regulatory agencies, conservation agencies and government. Bailiffs Seminar
ASFB, IFM and the DSFBs organise the annual Bailiffs Conference for bailiffs which allows the sharing of best practice and experience from around Scotland. The 2012 Bailiffs seminar will be held at the Macdonald Aviemore Resort and will be hosted by the Spey District Salmon Fishery Board.
The Spey Board have negotiated an extremely competitive rate with Macdonald Aviemore Resort and this rate has been further subsidised by ASFB and IFM. There are various options, depending on travel/accommodation requirements of delegates. Costs are based on either single occupancy or shared occupancy.
